Among the speakers are Rob Lash who is ‘web master’ extraordinaire – the title of his speech - “You are your web presence’ ; Stefan Eckert who had a successful career in the food industry with multi-billion dollar Danno Foods prior to joining the dance business will speak about Branding; Lukasz will continue with training on using the software; Anna Christine will talk about getting events organized and profitable; and Wayne Eng will talk about DVIDA and his plans for the future; our World Class Dance Director Paul Richardson, will help explain how quality teachers make more money – IF they follow the plan! The convention is free to all GDA members and their guests; we also extend a welcome to studio owners who are interested in joining the GDA. The meetings will be held at the Treasure Island Hotel; Boardrooms, second floor adjacent to the main ballroom. Rooms are available at the hotel through World Promotions for an inclusive rate of $95 per room per night – please contact anna@worldpromotionsinc.com. We have divided the convention into two parts – one for owners and executives with the focus on business development and profitability; the other for teachers and dance directors to help expand their dance knowledge. We have ‘synced’ the dance training with our biz training and occasionally the exec. meeting will adjourn to watch the dance training. The attached flyer includes a tentative schedule for the convention. A light lunch will be provided both days and we invite you to join us for a casual dinner on Monday 16th as our guests. Please note that the dress code for the convention is business attire. In addition to the GDA convention; our Dance director Paul Richardson will be conducting teacher exams; a limited amount of time is available for these exams and teachers who are planning on completing their DVIDA exams in Las Vegas should contact Paul asap - paul@globaldancealliance.com The costs and time requirements for the exams is detailed on the following page. In order that we can properly plan the convention we ask that you email us (andrew@worldpromotionsinc.com) with the names of your delegates – please understand that we are not able to accommodate partial attendance; we respectfully request that attending delegates be present at all sessions. We look forward to seeing you in Las Vegas!
